They copied the house and the wardrobe exactly for Steve Coogans drama. It was so excellent a portrayal of him. I watched this at the time and didnt like him. We didnt know then.

Savile must have had some sort of sexual relationship with his mother. She seemed controlling. He was so twisted and had no discrimination for his victims, young/old, male/female, alive/ dead. He was a pedeophil, rapist, necrophiliac. Almost as if he was revengeful for what was done to him. There's no way he wasn't abused.
Her being qn emotionally withholding narcissist, would be eough to turn him her golden child, her cute little girl toddler, and a narc himself into a malignant narcissist. As he was youngest child, he wasnt allowed to leave.

This was a very difficult interview for Savile as I doubt he's ever been questioned so much about his very private personal life. Savile is struggling to keep his composure, he's clearly nervous but trying incredibly hard to keep control, he's incredibly manipulative but very obviously disingenuous with his replies to questions. He just doesn't want people to really know who he is by answering questions with his controlled narratives . He's trying to paint a picture of how he wants people to see him, but we know now he's a sexual predator who is incredibly controlling. He must have been a nightmare to work with.🤔

Just watched the Steve Coogan series. I really feel Coogan didn't totally nail him, it was a reasonable impression but he didn't quite capture the way Savile verbally duals like he does here.
I was quite impressed with the actress who played Thatcher. I felt that she got the voice and her mannerisms down to a tee.
I agree. Coogan did a great job but he didn’t quite capture the constant abrasion Saville displays in this show.

This hour long documentary showed more about Savile than we had ever seen before. Louis masterfully exposed so many things through his nuanced questions and we saw beneath the surface. If only it had been enough ...

I remember watching this documentary not long before Jimmy passed away,I wondering why he was coming out with things like,No women,No Brain damage,Now explains it all,Not in to women,He's in to kids,He's a sick man,Since the days his true colours come out,Soon see the creeps through Jimmy Savile,How many Victims come forward as well
